Hi

I'm using Whitebox Enterprise Linux 3.0 , and I would like to ask that someone help me, by telling me , where to find the route [config?] file , so that I won't have to constantly remove the old default gateway, and add the new one...

Sincerely

You should be able to change it in:

/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
(or ifcfg-eth1, ifcfg-eth2, etc.)

If the address is assigned statically ... if it is assigned the wrong gateway by dhcp, you would have to manually set it. using route delete and route add (or change the dhcp server).

You can also use redhat-config-network to change it if is statically assigned.
