Hi!
I just wanna point out that I know near to NOTHING about Linux. I use a Win2k computer at home that is connected to the internet through a Linux server/router. The problem is that I need to open some TCP and UDP ports for gaming, leeching etc, but I don't know how! If I read correctly the server is running RedHat 7.2 with a 2.4.9-31 kernel and I also have the root password written down somewhere. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!
Joey
There should be some GUI frontent firewall tool with red hat. Load up X and look around the menus. You can use that to open up the ports. You can also take a look at the IPTables firewall script on our guides page.
