i just installed red hat, my video card bumps up my resolution and kicks out my moniter.
i need to install a new driver without going into graphical mode. how would i do this.

One thing you can do it at the grub config you can press esc to get the command prompt and than boot with the command

Linux screen=1280x1024
or what ever resolution you think you should boot with 800x600 what ever. That will alow you to get into graphical mode, change you defualt setting and should help you fix the problem.

Second you should make sure you have the right drivers installed. Write back about the stats and we will help you find out what you need.
