Hi,

So I've downloaded the source file ./configure make make install everything went fine smile.gif , then started the program from console by typing xcdroast.

Now the problem is quiet anyoing, I will include outputs in this post.

I can only erase rewritable cd-roms with this, I've tryied to manually add my cd-writer by /dev/sg0 and it detected it, and even automatic detect detected it on sci 0,0,0 ...wich is also reported by cdrecord scanbus 0,0,0 TeacW516EB.
[As I mentioned earlier I can write cd's from console with cdrecord on 0,0,0 ...]

here are the outputs...

any ideas?

[this is what happens when writing to a rewritable or writeable, or simulating]

I'm not sure what the problem is ... I just wrote a cd using the same command your system issued...

cdrecord dev= "0,0,0" gracetime=2 fs=4096k driveropts=burnfree -v -useinfo speed=10 -eject -multi -pad -data "systemrescuecd-x86-0.2.9.iso"

(all on one line)

I had no problem with the write...it completed satisfactorily.

Try issueing that command (replace the name of the data iso file) ...
