QLA2200 Fabric HBA not in Fabric mode ( post #1)

PowerEdge 1650, Red Hat Linux 7.2, kernel 2.4.9-33

QLA2200 installed using Fast!UTIL with "Connection Option" set to 1 as instructions indicate. The following messages file indicates the port is in loop mode and a "switchshow" command on the Brocade 2800 switch indicates L-port (not F for Fabric as wanted)
NOTE: All HP-UX servers connected show "F" fabric mode .
