you can either use mplayer with the real codecs installed ... or you can install realplayer 8 and the real video 9 codecs from here:

RealPlayer DOES NOT contain spyware (real download manager for windows DOES).... and the realplayer 8 for linux doesn't install the same things that it does for windows.

Another option is the Helix Player (homepage here). They have a linux client here ... you have to be a member to download that client. Real Player 10 is also based on the helix client.
