Hello y'all, I'm running Fedora Core 1, KDE, with Fluxbox as my WM. Everything was running cool until I had some GTK+ problems... then I stupidly uninstalled with apt-get, and reinstalled from source...which I learned later was a bad thing. The problem I was trying to solve was fixed, but now half my applications (gaim, evolution, gtkam) won't use antialiased fonts. However, Konqueror, Mozilla Firebird, OpenOffice.org, and some others still use my pretty antialiased fonts.

Does anyone know how I can get them back? I'm very confused... sad.gif

Reinstall Fedora. Don't EVER use apt-get. Use rpm.

Well ... I like apt.

To each his own I guess...

Edit: One should use whatever tool that originated from the distro. Redhat > rpm, etc. One can use whatever tool they want IF they're good.
