Full Version: Disk Druid Not Just During Install?
Linuxhelp > Support > Technical Support
I am just wanting to know if disk druid is or is not a utility I can use after I have installed, or do is fdisk still the utility?
I think I just found my answer.....Nope it is not a stand alone utility. Anybody have any other views?
I have not used disk druid outside the anaconda install process ... I did a quick check of the net and I don't see it as a stand alone program.

The standard program for manipulating partions in Linux is fdisk ... the command to see the partitons is:

fdisk -l

(you can follow it with /dev/hda, /dev/hdb, etc. ... and that is required with some versions)

To create partions use fdisk /dev/hda and press m for a menu....
