What TV Capture Cards or TV Tuner Cards are supported on Red Hat 9.0?
Any that work with Video4Linux (see this site). There are basically 3 types of cards supported:

1. Cards based on the bt848 and bt878 chips.
2. Cards based on the saa7130/34 chips.
3. Cards based on conexant 2388x chips.

(The WinTV cards by Hauppauge fit into one of these categories. I have a OLD WinTV model 190 (bt878) and it works fine ... probably the best card out there is the WinTV-PVR-350 {because it has a built-in hardware encoder, svideo/composite input, FM Radio, and a good remote!} ... the PVR-250 is also good ... just without the FM radio (or another model as FM and no remote).

We have a guide on installing this card by duende. (which is a bttv card as well).

DON'T try to get a USB tv device!!!!!!!

Almost any card you can get will work!
Hmmmm....tempted to drag out my old VooDoo 3500 !! tongue.gif
