hello, I'm french, and a newbie with Linux!
I have to configure a proftpd server for my new work, but I don't know how to make ! I've found a lot of documentation for that, but not complete.
For the moment, I've install proftpd, search in proftpd.conf . I would like to know how to create users and right for them. Can I create a group?

I want to grant user to access to the ftp server.

In /etc/hosts.allow, what i have need to add for that?
ftpd : username??? or groupname????
