I am new to the Linux revolution but have heard a lot about it.
I downloaded an ISO image of Knoppix 3.3b and burned it to a CD

When I try to boot Knoppix from the CD it doesnt work so I had to make a floppy disk.
When I try to boot the splash screen from the boot: knoppix splash command it loads vmlinuz and miniroot.gz
Then it acceses my CD
The Knoppix 3.3 logo is shown in the middle and then nothing, just a black screen

Can anyone help.
