I am running Red Hat 7.2 on a AMD K6II processor with 400K of mem. and have a 40G harddrive. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
According to my research this happens in at least RedHat 7.x, 8, and Mandrake 7.0, 7.1, and 8.2.

Here is a reference with a fix.
Thank You for the info. Now I need to figure out how to cnofigure the kernel like the man said.
