Full Version: Kde Will Not Start

panth0r
Don't bother to respond if this is already on the forum, I'm in a rush now and will search later.
This is the output I get when I start KDE:

/etc/X11/gdm/PreSession/Default: Registering your session with wtmp
and utmp
/etc/X11/gdm/PreSession/Default: running: /usr/bin/X11/sessreg -a -w
/var/log/wtemp -u /var/run/utmp -x "/var/gdm/:0.Xservers" -h ""
-l
":0" "panth0r"
/home/panth0r/.Xclients: line8: /home/panth0r/.Xclients-default: No
such file or directory
/home/panth0r/.Xclients: line8: exec: /home/panth0r/.Xclients-defualt:
cannot execute: No such file or directory
Corey
This output seems to be by the Xserver only and not by KDE, have you tried any other window managers/desktop environments?

A possible fix might be:

# touch /home/panth0r/.Xclients

as your 'panth0r' user.
