Full Version: Fedora - Menus
Linuxhelp > Support > Technical Support
I just installed Fedora. I did a upgrade from RedHat 9.

Unfortunately I had Ximian Desktop installed (next time I read the install-notes first.. smile.gif ).

However, everything seems to work fine, except that I have no application-menu. No shortcuts for any application. (I got the redhat-hat in the left corner, but this menu only contains links like "log out", "open recent" etc..)

Any ideas about how I can fix this?

My guess would be to reinstall redhat-menus-0.40-1.noarch.rpm
OK. Tried that, but it did not have any effect.

Any other ideas?

try creating a new user and login as them and see if htey have any menus ... if they do, we can copy that to your current user.

If not, You could create all the menus by hand...or I could send you a copy of my menus and you could edit out the stuff you don't have / want...
