Well, i've setup proftpd, and it's running fine and all, however, there is a speed issue happening with it, it's over a local network, and i can upload files at 900KB/s+ yet the most i can download at (including after i've played with the conf) is 130K/s, does anyone know how i can upload at greater speeds?
Thanks.

try setting your transfer type to active connection in your ftp client
i think that is what the type is called....if not....uncheck anywhere
that is says passive type
see if that helps

i really dont think its a server side setting..
Are you transfering files over a LAN or the internet?
