Full Version: Configure Linux As An Ssh Host
Linuxhelp > Support > Technical Support
How do i configure my linux workstation to be an ssh host, so i can log onto it with a remote computer using Windows XP. On my linux machine i see that the SSH daemon is running, but i've been unsuccessful in logging onto it from a remote machine. is there something in the sshd_config file i need to change or anything in my /etc/host file.
are you using an ssh client to connect to your linux computer? regular telnet client will not work
Also, make sure there is no firewall set up and that you have your IP's/hosts allowed in the sshd_config file.
