Hey, I have a Sony Vaio laptop partitioned three ways - two for windows xp, and one for linux, and I recently downloaded the iso's for Red Hat 9. It starts up just fine, and I choose "start graphical install", and everything goes well until I get this:

crc error<6>Freeing initrd memory: 2460k freed
VFS: Cannot open root device "" or 48:05
Please append a correct "root=" boot option
kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 48:05

So....I don't know what's going on - any suggestions? This ever happen to someone else?

Thanks
