Full Version: File Issues

I have tried to install POPFile on my Linux Mailserver, and I have a
problem when installing it as a boot time service. I get the message
from the Service Manager that /etc/init.d/popfile file or directory
does not exist. Yet when I do ls -l /etc/init.d/popfile it finds the
file without issue.

Has any one got any ideas on whats going on, or how I can fix it?
What user does the program run as ... and what are the permissions on the file?

Maybe the user who runs doesn't have execute perissions on the file...

try doing the command:

chmod 755 /etc/init.d/popfile
