[B][COLOR=blue]Ok everyone Im trying to install xine 9.8 and my Redhat 9 box. Its a 700 mhz celeron with 310 megs of ram. When I run ./configure this is what I get.
[root@localhost xine-lib-0.9.8]# ./configure
loading cache ./config.cache

Now the real problem with this is I have no idea what Im looking at. So if there is anyone out there who might be able to give me a hand it would be appreciated.
Sorry I forgot to add that it is xine library that Im trying to compile not the front end.
you have to add the package gcc and gcc-c++ to compile programs.

If you have registered with RHN and maintain your RH 9 updated with up2date, use this command to install both programs:

up2date gcc gcc-c++
Thank you hughesjr Ill try that right now
