Hello. We are having problems developing a sockets based
application between a Linux (Redhat 7.1) and an
HP9000 (HPUX 10.20) platofms. The same applicaton works
between Unix/Unix, but not with Linux as a Client and Unix
being the Server. Could anyone give me an orientaion
in tems of a lead to contadting an expoert on sockets who
would be interested in solving our problem?

Once your at socket level, make sure you XDR (or in some other way) change the endianness of the values in your packet to big endian (network standard). You can mail me, I do talking between IRIX and Linux via sockets (both TCP and UDP) all the time, and the endian problem is usually the only big problem.
