I'm a complete and utter newbie, and I'm worried that I've just messed up. I just bought "Red Hat Linux 9 for Dummies", and found out that there's no source code on it. Apart from shelling out the $16.99 overseas shipping fee (I live in the UK) or spending hours downloading, is there anything I can do to get it?
Perhaps I should buy "Checking what software is with the book for Dummies" next.

Heh, I told you I haven't got a clue. I'm just having trouble installing, and am a bit confused. Sorry!
I'm still having massive difficulties installing. The book says that the CD should install automatically. It doesn't. Any suggestions?

What error messages are you receiving?
Where exactly does the installation fail?
What type of hardware are you trying to install this on?
