Full Version: Help With Booting Linux
Linuxhelp > Support > Technical Support

It's been a while since I tried to tackle my laptop problem. But i'm back as i've got the weekend.

I know what I want, i just can't get. I'm looking for a boot disk that will;

a) reformat and re-organise my partions (single hd, 2 partions that need to be merged back to 1)
b ) Network support, so i can d'l a distro of some sort.
c) Must be on floppy(s)

Any help would be warmly appreciated.

Can you lose the info from either of the partitions ... or do you need to keep them both intact?

As far as which Linux distro ... SUSE is perfect for the install. The only downloaded install is a floppy based install.

Debian can also be installed from Floppys and the network:
