Full Version: Aliases Problem With Mailman

I've got un little bug, I create a list via Web and the aliases cannot create properly.
I dont see any config file for mailman create himself our aliases. Is Mailman can create aliases himself, if create new list via Web.

Please if anybody solve this problem, give me a help.

I'm sorry I don't understand what you are asking.

If you want to create aliases and you are using sendmail, you should have a file called /etc/aliases or /etc/mail/aliases. Simply put them in there and then save/exit the file. Once that is done you have to run newaliases to update the database file.

Is the aliases create automaticly?

I have some error in my mail log " user unknown ", after the list create.

I dont think it would do it automatically, you have to copy/paste it into /etc/aliases and then run newaliases
