I'm having a little trouble visualizing the setup that you have and what your connection from and where you're connecting to. Here is what I'm thinking:

<Redhat FTP server>--------<Your box, Gateway>-------><internet>

What machine are you running CuteFTP on and where are you trying to FTP to? Are you trying from internet into your redhat server?

hey man. This was kinda confusing, yes.
<My Box - WIn > -------- < Red Hat Gateway > ------- Internet
I run CuteFTP on the win box ( my PC ) and I CANNOT FTP
If I logon to the linux terminal of the Red Hat Gateway, I can FTP.

Well, from the diagram you have, i'm guessing your ftp'ing from the windows box to the outside world, over the internet right? If that is the case, then it appears that the ftp that you're connecting to is on a local lan with 192.168.20.1 . I'm confused sad.gif
