i put the disk in my dvd-rom drive, the main screen loads,i hit enter to begin the instalation, it starts initilizing files but then reboots!
even if i try entering other commands such as mediacheck or lowres it still does exactly the same

my hardware

via p4pb ultra mobo
p4 2.8ghz
512 mb ddr x2
leadtek 256mb 8x agp
maxtor 200gb hdd
pioneer dvd-rw(which i'm booting from)

Sounds to me like faulty media. If you're using a CD-R, you may want to re-download the iso and re-burn it. I would normally suggest you use the Redhat media check option, but as you stated, that doesn't function either. Unfortunitly, this is the only thing I can think of.
