Linuxhelp > Support > Technical Support

I am a total newb at Linux sad.gif and need some help

we have a server that was running fine until it was restarted by someone

now the server boots up but stops after it says

"setting default ipv4 interface for multicast"

you can type any letters and press enter and it just goes to a new line

any help would be appreciated
What distribution and version is running on your server?
Does it use any sort of remote filesystems like NFS?
