Full Version: Fresh Install on a Dell Mini

Situation: I have two computers. Primary is a Toshiba Satellite A665 utilizing Windows 7 as the Operating System. Secondary is a Dell Inspiron Mini 10 Netbook. The Satellite is operating fine, and I can easily second-boot Ocelot onto it without issue.

Problem: The Mini was originally running Windows XP. That OS became corrupt. I have set up the BIOS to read Boots from the USB (Minis do not have CD drives). The problem I'm finding is that every Ocelot I download is as an ISO, which the USB BIOS does not recognize as a valid bootable/installable file. How, or where, can I get a version of Ocelot (or functioning Linux) onto a thumbdrive to INSTALL onto the Mini. Every forum and quick help I've searched deals with utilizing a dual-boot between a CD and thumbdrive, or using a thumbdrive on an already-installed platform. These will not work. The Mini has no base Operating System to boot into. It's basically a brand new computer, straight from the factory, waiting for me to mold it's tiny little brain to do my evil bidding.

Specs: The Mini in question has a 800MHz processor, 1Gb DDR2 Ram, and 160Gb Sata harddrive.
