Hello! i am a total noob in linux (good to know) ..
This is what i want to do: i have a dynamic dns and i want to make a email adress tex username@mydns ... i want it to work just like a ordinary mail (send and get mail) and use it with for example microsoft outlook in win. i dont know what guides/howtos to read. i have installed CommuniGate Pro server and i can configure it in http://mydns:8010 .... but i dont know really HOW to get my emailing to work.. i have created a account named omegan and have made a POP password and i tested it with a client (Ximian) but i dont get any mail and i cant send any mail and i am 100% sure it is me who havnt configured something right with the domain thing and all.. if someone wants to help me be my guest =)
i had once tried communigate mail server

you just have to point your email client to point to your address of your server...that should get it working
and be absolutely sure you turn off relaying...and allow only you and your local LAN to use the server
as a relay...if not people will use it for spamming purposes...

i have since moved to using sendmail with imapd...might switch to commigate in the future...

i clicked on your link for your email administration....i would remove it if i was you......

for security reasons
