I've been trying all day to make an internet connection through my broadband modem and I can't seem to figure it out.

I am operating my box on a dual-boot partition with red hat linux 7.3 and wxp.

I've tried the internet configuation wizard over and over in numerous ways and nothing works. It doesn't seem to recognize my cable modem.

Please someone help me before I go crazy.

What sort of errors are you getting when trying to configure it/connect?

Have a look at http://www.linuxhelp.ca/guides/cablemodem/ (it's a little on the old side but should still work)
