Hi


i have just setup a server in linux mandrake 9.0 ..... but i can't seems to telnet to it . what seems to be the problem here. any help would be appreciated..

you have to start the telnet daemon

try /etc/rc.d/init.d/telnet start


im not exactly sure....being i dont use telnet

I am using Mandrake 9.1 and I assume Mandrake 9.0 is similar. Don't forgot to go to
the mandrake control center and choose to start telnetd at boot so that you don't have to do it manually if you need to report.
