How sweet that dsl! It is so cute!

I got from some friend a very old think pad ibm. I have installed DAMNSMALLLINUX and it works wonders! But it does not see the USB pendrive.

I guess I should install a driver for usb pendrive 2.0. I am quite useless on linux...
I have no idea how to!!
And what is more, that computer does not have a possibility of a web connection. It can read from cd but i also don't know how to visualize the content of the cd.

Also, if i search on the web "dsl driver usb" for example, google & friends give the results about using dsl from the usb pendrive, and I cannot find any help about driver for usb pendrive on dsl and how can I visualize it on the desktop.
