need help installing adobe flash Options

Linux so far has been harder to use than anything i have run. But with that said, I would like to know how to install Adobe Flash player on this thing. I have downloaded every "Linux" version from Adobe and still have no luck. Firefox tries to help me but errors out after asking what install type. Because I am having so much trouble with this, I was wondering if there is a step by step for dummies. I mean every mouse click and anything else like that.

Any help would be much appreciated.
