The title may be a bit off putting, as I didn't know what to say since i'm a complete noob to Linux and have installed it for the first time today.

Anyway, the installation of it went fine, I have dualbooted it with windows using the program "wubu.exe". When I went to open it after it rebooted for the second time I did as usual and selected Ubunutu, then what appeared next wasn't linux, it was another option which was something called "Windows Xp professional.. / /", there is more at the end but I didn't remember that part. Whenever I even go further by pressing enter into the Windows XP it just goes back to the original boot menu.

I don't know what to do at all, as i'm a noob at this as I have stated. It's probably worded badly and hard to get my problem, but I'll try to get you's to understand as well as possible.

Also if it is of any help to anybody, you can open a command prompt/ kernel.
