For 2 weeks I have not had any issues printing anything on my new Ubuntu 8.04 system running a Brother all-in-one.

Then today, I found that I (my account only) can not print from open office. I can print from e-mail, online, etc; AND the wife's account is unaffected as she can still print from everywhere including office.

So why would it be that a document I printed yesterday, I can not print today? The only thing I played around with since I was last able to print from office was java and wine.

Has anyone got a clue why it would be ONLY my account and ONLY open office applications that can't print?

FYI- I already deleted the printer and re-installed; also uninstalled java 6 jre and other java related items I was playing with; also reinstalled open office. None of this helped.

Thanks so much for any thoughts.
