i am trying to install Linux in my pc and it have sata drive and IDE DVD but the problem is whel it goes to instalation it just saying dvd not found while its loading all files from dvd and also i would tell you the motherboard is MSI and processor is Core 2 Duo if i can get help about it it will be great for me

well i have tried suse 10.1 and also red hat enterprise 5

I do not know of any issues with the MSI board. Might try Fedora 10 or CentOS.
