A few years ago a tech set up a nice command line shortcut on my Debian server that sure was handy.
We have changed servers and lost it now and I am hoping to figure out how he did it.

if I wanted to add a FTP user to one of the subsites on the server,
I would just type in: addftpSC TheUserName
it would ask me for a password twice
Then it auto made a folder in /var/www/SC/MemberFolder/TheUserName
and the member could then login using FTP only seeing that folder.

if I wanted to add a FTP user to another of the subsites on the server,
I would just type in: addftpSnS TheUserName
it would ask me for a password twice
Then it auto made a folder in /var/www/SnS/MemberFolder/TheUserName
and the member could then login using FTP only seeing that folder.

may I ask if anyone knows how he did this?
