someone please help me i have linux kubuntu and one day i change the permissions when i was on administrator so that user that is not administrator could see my folder in users dolphin so now when i try to log in i get this no write access to $ home directory Then it says check installation and I can't login and i tried sudo on my other desktop it did not work and I am new and don't know much about how to use the terminal so can somebody show me step by step to fix this?

What permissions were changed and what did you change them to?
What linux distribution / version are you running?
