Hello... I'm totally new to linux at all, although I administer windows servers. We got new red hat enterprise linux server in the company. I was logged in as root and wanted to lock the session the same way as it is possible on windows systems. I've found 'Lock screen' item in the Actions menu. I've clicked it, but it did nothing. I've tried it once again, but without any success again. So I logged out. And this is the end (and beginning of my problem) - monitor turned off (to standby mode), as if there was no signal from server at all. I cannot do anything. Server is running and also oracle database runs, but I cannot start any new session. I cannot do anything with it. I suppose, that this is the screen lock, i required. But how to unlock the screen now?

Please, I need help urgently...
