Hi I was wondering if anyone on here could help me or knows where i can get help from.
I have opensuse 11.1 installed with Elisa which is being used as a media centre. All forms of music and video now play however when i try to play .mkv files the video is very choppy and practically unwatchable, this is very strange as when i play the video's in VLC they play perfectly, however i would like to be able to play them in Elisa for the media centre feel.
I have been told that elisa uses gstreamer as a backend, and the usual solution of installing gstreamer-ffmpeg does not seemed to have worked for me.
Any suggestions or advice would be welcomed.

Thanks
james
