Hi everibody:

I have a server with Suse Linux 9.0. Everything was right until I checked the option of :
Also use SMB information for Linux Authentication.

After that, I restarted the server and now I can't access the computer using the regular login information. User name and password.

If I restart the server in failsafe mode, I can login with my user name and my password, but I just can see the info in terminal mode.

Maybe I have to write different the login name. I don't know.

Can any bodie help me please?

Not a SuSE expert and not sure what you are trying to accomplish but I believe that "Also use SMB information for Linux Authentication." means authenticate via a windows domain. If you are not using
a windows domain that you should go back to local. You should be able to reconfigure your system via yast.
