While installing Suse 8.0 i was hardly interuppted because my HDD wasn`t detected. The HDD is connected to the HPT 374 Raid Controller. This controller is onboard. It`s a ABIT Mainboard. If someone can send me a link or better the driver i need to activate this controller i woud be enable to install SUSE.

Thx NICLUK

Hi there!

That seems strange; SuSE 8 is supposedly includes support for that controller. Give this article a read though, maybe it'll help? The issue addressed there however, is enabling DMA support (but they use the same RAID controller as you).

Hope that helps.
