I created a encfs filesystem, then reinstalled Linux but kept the disk which had the encoded filesystem the same (no changes was made to it) except grub was installed to the disk.
(Ubuntu fscked up the installation upgrade because I had a software raid, every single release it has the same problem).
I thought I could encfs .encrypted_directory /mount_point and it will work, now it only prompts me to create a new encrypted directory.
Have I lost my personal data?
