Hi everyone,

i know this question has been asked quite a bit however nothing seems to work for myself.

i have an old Lifebook Fujitsu Siemens that only seems to boot from floppy disks, i managed to install XP using the boot discs made by their program and a USB DVD drive, however i cant seem to install Linux using a similar method i am not really bothered what linux distro just as long as it has a graphical interface and has the General applications like and office package, firefox.

can any help me please.

thank you

joe

Slackware would be a good choice but it is not the easiest for the beginner. How old? What is the model number?
Can it boot from USB? How much memory?
