QUOTE (michaelk @ Aug 14 2008, 03:18 PM) *
I am not aware of a linux application that will open a publisher file.

If linux won't open a publisher file, is there a way to convert the pub. file to another format so I can use and manipulate it? I've tried all the ways I can with my limited knowledge of linux. Thanks for your help/ suggestions.

A quick google did not show anything promising. One method if you were only interested in the text not the graphics per se would be to copy and paste
into a word document and then open in openoffice.

If you had the application you can trying running it via WINE.
