Im trying to build a linux box. Currently running fedora (latest release with all updates done). It will serve as a kiosk type machine that i would like to really limit what an "end user" can do.

Ive been trying to run everything from within firefox. the system boots directly into firefox with the tabs i want open. there is a website on the machine that they need to access. which works great.

the only obsticle is that the user needs to be able to view folders on the system and burn selected folders to cd when needed.

We can view the folders from within firefox. however the only way to burn the folder is to minimize or close firefox and use a seperate
cd burning program. I would really like to be able to burn directly from that folder. I was able to add a "send to" and a "open with" option to the context menu. but cant
seem to get any cd burning program to launch. I would love a way to just right click on the folder and choose "write to CD" and it would write it to the cd and done.

any help would be appriciated.

It might be possible to add an extension to accomplish your task but a web search did not provide anything specific.
