Ok I don't want to sound like a complete noob by asking a question thats already been asked. But I have tried all the different solutions to my problem and not one has worked.. ndiswrapper and madwifi dont work.

I have a Compaq Presario f700 AMD64. Not sure what the wireless card is.
I am running Linux Mint 5.0

I cant even get the thing to detect the card.. well ndiswrapper did.. but still didnt work.

Not sure what else you need to know to help me. But im sure I can find a way to get you that info

edit: forgot to mention its a 32bit version of linux
edit: Wireless card is the arthos ar5007

Update: I might have tried to many options so now i have to many things altering the wireless settings. Not sure how to delete everything without uninstalling linux... dont want to do that option
