Please, need help installing firewire card. Just got it and plugged it into the computer. SO far I haven't been able to do much else. When I lspci it shows up but when i try to set it up in kino is says "THe IEEE1394 subsystem is not responding. The raw 1394 module must be loaded and you must have read and write access to /dev/raw1394"

Honestly I have no idea what to do. I've googled and forumed to no avail. All I want is to be able to capture video from my dv camcorder. So if anyone can help me I'd really appreciate it.
BTW currently running Ubuntu 8.04
