Hello,
I use linux mandrake 9.1; kernel version 2.4.19-16. but i have one problem.

unknown : Nvidia Corporation|nForce AGP Controller
unknown : Nvidia Corporation|nForce 220/420 Memory Controller
nvnet : Nvidia Corporation|nForce Ethernet Controller
unknown : Nvidia Corporation|nForce 220 Memory Controller (DDR)
unknown : Nvidia Corporation|nForce Joystick
unknown : Nvidia Corporation|nForce SMBus Controller
usb-ohci : Nvidia Corporation|nForce USB Controller
usb-ohci : Nvidia Corporation|nForce USB Controller
unknown : Nvidia Corporation|nForce MCP Networking Adapter

So, as you can see, i have DDR memory. but linux only recognizes it as SDR. I have 1024M -ddr and linux reads it as 512 mb. please help.

It appears there are several hardware problems.. Go to Mandrake's website and check the hardware compatability list against your hardware.
