Hi there,

I've been trying to load up the Hardy Heron LiveCD on my desktop, but I keep ending up with this:

It's definately my ATI graphics card causing this, since the CD works perfectly if the card is removed.

Here are my computer's specs:
- ATI Radeon X1300 PCI
- Hauppauge HVR-1600
- Creative X-Fi Xtremegamer
- Lite-On DVD-RW
- x2 WD 160GB IDE HDD
- Celeron D 2.66Ghz CPU
- 2GB RAM PC2700

I've posted this on the Ubuntu forum, but I didn't get a reply.

Thank you.

After months of trying to solve this, I've FINALLY fixed the problem. I luckily stumbled across a page that had a solution.

1. I used the alternate install disc to setup Ubuntu on my system.
2. Logged in with my onboard intel graphics.
3. Downloaded ATI drivers.
4. Returned using onboard, and using the console, I had to blacklist the intel onboard drivers.
5. Fixed!

So happy. biggrin.gif
