After installing windows XP pro sp2 (For an online game) it deleted the boot selection screen and now my computer automatically boots to windows. I have Freespire 2.0.8, the new one on my primary partition. I used a live cd to check to see if maybe my files had been formatted over but they still exist. The only thing im missing is my boot selection screen. I have a really old foxconn winfast motherboard but I would truly appreciate some help.

Yes, windows will overwrite the master boot record but it can be repaired by booting up the linspire installed and selecting rescue mode. There should be something about reinstalling grub.
